Years of repeated contractions of facial muscles can cause lines that appear on the skin surface that we refer to as wrinkles. They have become a readily identifiable part of aging.
Some treatments deals directly with the cause of the wrinkles that is, over activity of certain muscles. Each treatment will last 3-4 months and over time, can start to work for longer periods due to the muscle re-training.

Sunekos is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin on the face and neck. It is typically performed in a series of sessions and the results are long lasting over 6-9 months. There are 2 different treatments.
Sunekos 1200 is a denser and volumising product which can create a support structure or scaffold in areas that appear most depleted. It contains a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and amino acid precursors of collagen and elastin. The protocol includes an immediate first session with Sunekos Performa.
Sunekos Performa is a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with amino acids that can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The main difference between the two products is that Sunekos 1200 is thicker so supports thin, crepey skin and Sunekos Performa contains more amino acids which produces more collagen and elastin thickening the skin.

Profhilo
PROFHILO® is the latest treatment for skin laxity. It is a pure, injectable, BDDE free hyaluronic acid that bioremodels the skin helping to boost firmness, tightness and reduce crepiness.
PROFHILO® does not create the volumetric lift or volume replacement associated with traditional dermal fillers, however it is indicated in areas affected by skin laxity as it creates volume in the tissue where it is needed and is an ideal treatment for cheeks and jowls, and in challenging areas such as the neck, décolleté, perioral area, and hands and arms, where we do not see the significant volume loss, but skin has lost its elasticity.
PROFHILO® is not a dermal filler, but it contains high levels of naturally occurring Hyaluronic Acid that will ensure our skin looks more hydrated, fresher and younger looking with an overall improved skin tone.
PROFHILO® is a new ally against aging, it nourishes the dermal cells and restores firmness of the skin.
Following each treatment Profhilo lasts in the skin for approximately 28 days, during which it stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin by the slow release of hyaluronic acid.
This stimulation will result in tissue improvement which is two, or in some instances, three treatments of 2mls is injected, spaced 4 weeks apart is the normal recommendation.

Aqualyx Double Chin Fat Disolving Injections

AQUALYX contains desoxycholan-acid, a secondary bile acid. With the assistance of bacteria our body is able to produce this acid itself in the liver in order to aid the digestion of fat. The fat-dissolving effect of this acid was utilised by Prof. Pasquale Motolese, the inventor of AQUALYXTM, who developed a synthetically manufactured variant. The active substance locks on to the fat cell walls and starts to operate, resulting in the cell wall becoming instable and releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. Cell residue is removed by the body’s defences and the non-attached fatty acids are metabolised and converted into energy.
How Many Treatments are required?
The number of treatments varies according to the desired degree of amendment, the dimensions of the fat depot and the individual reactions of the fat tissue. On average you will have to expect around 2-4 appointments, with 3-week intervals, until you can actually perceive the results.
A treatment with AQUALYX does not result in weight loss. Healthy nutrition as well as an exercise regimen are an absolute necessity to ensure success of the treatment.
